Give Them Glasses So That They Can Learn Better

After years of effort, many students sponsored by Fu Hui have now finished middle school and will continue their education in high schools or vocational schools in Huili, Xichang, Chengdu, etc. Many of these students face vision problems common to all, and such problems may become obstacles in their learning.

Fu Hui has been working with volunteers and other social organizations to find a solution to this problem. Phyllis Lam, a Fu Hui volunteer who have taught English in Huili, organized a fundraiser and was able to provide glasses to over 60 students. Fu Hui then collaborated with Eternal Corporation, a dealer of vision products, in providing professional vision tests for girls class graduates who are now studying in Chengdu and vicinity. Those who needed glasses were given frames sponsored by Eternal and lenses sponsored by Jinghua Optical Shop in Chengdu, all free of charge.

To continue with this project and under the support of Fu Hui directors, we have started a special foundation to sponsor students who need glasses so that more students can have their vision corrected in time with obstacle-free learning opportunities.
