All For Our Kids——2018 Visit

We are here!  After a long journey from Canada, many Fu Hui volunteers, or as the children call them aunties and uncles, arrived in Xichang city, bringing presents, games, and joy to the students.  The first stop was ChuanXing High School in Xichang where aunties and uncles co-lead a scholarship award ceremony.  In the sealed scholarship envelop was a certificate of merit, letters from volunteers encouraging students, hand-picked maple leaves from Canada, made into bookmarks with encouraging words.  After arriving at several more schools, the May visit was over and Fu Hui volunteers left on a high note, singing with the children about how “[We] will keep your faces firmly in [our] mind and [we] will cherish the love you give.”  Our hearts are connected, and the students and volunteers are already looking forward to their future reunion.
