Law lessons helped students develop healthy life habits and learning environments. Sowing the seeds of law and order into their ears, their brains and their hearts, so that they would be law-abiding young citizens.
2.Martial Arts & Basketball
Students and volunteers play and learn together to develop sportsmanship
3.Arts & Crafts
Students were inspired by nature to create their ideal world - nature and paper came together to express their visions.
4.Music
Music is mankind’s antidote, entering the soul like magic. This summer we brought do re mi into the classroom, so music can be the gift for healing, helping students make beautiful memories.
5.Dance
Volunteer teachers helped students use their body movements as bridges to communicate, using dance to learn the beauty of life and the world, building confidence through graceful dance moves.
6.Drawing Class
Variety being the spice of life, students wielded their brushes to create their own world of colours; they navigated their pencils to create favoured personalities in portrait class; and turned paper, colour and paste into textural creations in pulp painting class.
7.Evening Activities
Acitivities included: Movie Night -“Tokyo Trial”, heart to heart conversations, folk dancing and debates. The lips were swords and thoughts were the shields. In the debate, the two sides argued passionately “Who is mainly responsible for school bullying - the bully or the school?” Students practised their critical thinking and public speaking in these debates. Life’s most basic need is to be seen. In a sea of people, we saw each other and shared a journey together. We’re parting to continue our work in separate places, for a better future, and a better us.
"We come together as a flame, we part to fill the sky with stars"
"To shine on forever"
