Fu Hui Starlets Public Welfare Activities Exchange
On February 19, 2022, under the organization and leadership of the Fuhui Project Department, 28 Starlets held an online and in person exchange and sharing meeting of Starlets public welfare activities.
You have an idea, I have an idea, we share with each other, and we all gain from it! Let's take a look at what sparks of ideas came out of this exchange meeting.
Special guest - Su Zhengmin
Su Zhengmin won the Fuhui Scholarship in 2018 and is now a senior at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (a graduate student with commendation from the school). He is the founder of the Liangshan State Education Foundation Ayi Study Aid Special Fund, the Liangshan Ayi Study Aid Program, and the of the "Su Zhengmin" Volunteer Service Team of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the 16th Chinese University Student of the Year, Chinese University Strong Stars and Hubei Charitable Youth award. With a childhood dream “ to get out of the mountains”, and when he grows up, “to return to the mountains", in recent years he has led a team of volunteers to perform various public welfare activities in Liangshan Prefecture, bringing warmth to many children in the prefecture.
He shared his childhood experience, how he started the volunteer group, offering valuable insights and providing an excellent role model to the Starlets, encouraging them to actively participate in community welfare activities.
His Message: Be a person who knows gratitude, feels grateful and pays it forward. Spread love, contribute to society, and help others.
Helping each other to move forward, forming a bright sea of "stars"
Participating Starlets shared their thoughts on participating in public welfare activities:
Under the leadership of the brothers and sisters of the Fu Hui Project Department Starlets came to the office for work-study program. Learning to use office software and assisting with day-to-day tasks - it was our first experience in a workplace and Starlets became volunteers and participated in a variety of activities. That was the training before breaking out of the cocoon.
Looking back on the road traveled:
Exploring innocently, stumbling forward, reflecting on our many mistakes, and regain confidence in the face of many difficulties. All this growth rooted and sprouted in every experience. Starlets taking on responsibilities independently planning and implementing activities such as respect for the elderly, literacy activities, winter camp party, etc…
That is the sweet harvest of countless hard work.
Lu Xiaoying :
My first public welfare activity was the seniors visit last July. The more I participate in public welfare activities, the more I grow and gain experience for future public welfare activities. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, have courage to try.
A You Mo Zi Zuo:
Because I learned to use the office software during the work-study program in the office, I can successfully complete the things that my companions can't do during my internship later.
Buzi Mosha:
When I gave a lecture for the first time, I realized that preparing a class required so much materials and so much practice. Although I am not satisfied with the first time, it is because of this experience that I can be better prepared in the 2022 Meigu Winter Camp and achieve better lecturing results.
