However, they were faced with an extremely difficult problem: completing their winter vacation homework by themselves. In the rural areas, most of the children's parents are illiterate or with low education level. They are incapable to help their children with their homework. It is against this background that starlet graduate A Zi Se Ri applied for the Fu Hui Alumni charity fund to initiate a project called “Gathering Stars to Set Sails” which focuses on tutoring rural children's homework and accompanying them during the winter festival.
A Zi Se Ri started to planning in last December, together with other four Fu Hui alumni Bu Zi Ma Sha Ge, Ye Bu Ma Xiao Lan, Xiao Xia, Tang Rui, they formed the project core team. In the beginning of January, they recruited seven more volunteers from Fu Hui alumni and trained them on tutoring children's holiday homework and guidance activities in their villages.
After several online meetings, the project was held in three villages in Butuo and 1 village in Xichang from January 16 to January 29, 2023.
